- I was watching Russian TV on satellite at about 3am the other day, and
- I saw a show called "Brain Ring" (Yes, that IS the transliteration).
- It seemed kind of like the old "GE College Bowl" (for those of you old
- enough to remember it!) except the teams looked high-school age, and
- the production values were typical of all the Russian TV I've seen.
- Anyhow, since it was 3am, and since the host spoke as fast as the
- average Russian TV announcer (which is far too fast for me!), I had a
- lot of trouble trying to understand exactly what was going on. If
- anybody out there has seen the show, could you tell me more about it,
- especially the rules of the game (I was extremely confused as to how
- they selected the new team)? I'd appreciate it -- I'm really curious.
