  13. Compulsory seat belts, bike helmets, motorbike jackets and the like make
  14. perfect sense in a country which has socialised medicine (as all
  15. countries should). One could argue that one should be able to
  16. simultaneously opt out of these protections and the health care system,
  17. but I doubt that the number of takers would justify the trouble of the
  18. legislation.
