  11. As the Martian assigned to the case of learning about Judaism in one
  12. week, I'm proud to report that I've accomplished my task with the
  13. aid of "To Be a Jew," which received the most recommendations from
  14. s.c.j.  On the shelf nearby there was Maimonides' "Guide for the
  15. Perplexed," which, I'm afraid, I'll have to set aside until I visit
  16. this lovely planet again.  Perhaps I should get Maimonides'
  17. lesser-known first work, "Guide for the Clueless" before I work up
  18. to the sequel.
