- Out of curiosity, what kind of scientists are you talking about?
- Political Scientists? Your statements are typical of tunnel-visioned
- and technically illiterate (in nuclear technology) people who use the
- term "scientists ga...to itteimashita..." to gain credibility. I've met
- lots of Japanese *nuclear* scientists and engineers who would disagree
- with you.

-
- You can take out New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and all the "Hard Rock
- Cafe's" in each of those cities with uranium alone. Pu is not crazy,
- because there are uses for mix-oxide fuels and it is a way of extending
- the fissile fuel resources which Japan lacks. BTW, fissile material
- alone, a bomb does not make...You need to enrich it to very high purity,
- you need very sophisticated electronics and controls as well. If you
- saw the movie "Manhattan Project"...starring John Lithgow I can
- understand your anxiety...But shinpai nai de. The movie was full of
- b---sh-t.
