  11. Does any one know the story of the blind men describing the elephant?
  12. One blind man touch the elephants leg and says an  elephant is like
  13. a tree.  Another blind man touches the elephants trunk and says an elephant
  14. is like a snake.  And so on.  The story sounds to me like an Indian story,
  15. so I posted it here.  I need the original source and the full text of the
  16. story.  Can anybody help?
