  28. Wonder how the sys admin took such action, when by law he is not allowed
  29. to do so, unless there is evidence of a cognizable offence, or intent to
  30. commit an act in the detriment of society an example would be hate mail.

  32. In fact though the exchanges on the net between the particular gentlemen
  33. were of an unsavoury nature, it does not give anyone the authority to be
  34. a self-proclaimed net.police, and ask the sysadmin of a particular node,
  35. to restrict that account holders privileges. You might have in fact just
  36. given the particular gentleman, an opportunity to take the sysadmin to a
  37. court of law to seek redressal.

  39. This reminds me of an incident last semester/year,  when Asim Mughal and
  40. Co. tried to get the sysadmins of 2 nodes to restrict account privileges
  41. of people who post on the net,and were firmly rebuffed.
