- Greetings! I am in the process of compiling and learning (on the acoustic
- guitar) as many Irish folk songs as possible before travelling overseas.
- Do any of you have any suggestions, chords, personal favorites that you
- might suggest I learn? So far I have a learned a small collection of
- good Irish songs (Spancil Hill, Fields of Athenry, She Moved Thru the Fair,
- Cockles and Mussels <of course, =+)>, and Black Velvet Band), but I'm
- looking for more! Thanks for the help!

- p.s. keep a possible Dublin net/pub gathering in mind, if any of you are
- interested in getting together in Dublin at some point!

- "and I woke in California many miles from Spancil Hill"
-
- p.p.s. I'm also looking for people who know Galway or live there because
- I will be spending a month there living with a host family. Where's the
- best pub to hang out at in Galway? thanx
