  14.     To all those who read or post to soc.culture.bangladesh:

  17. Please let us not forget what SCB is for. It is for the discussion of news,
  18. issues, etc. pertaining to Bangladesh. I personally (and I believe there are
  19. many others like me) do not like to read articles not related to Bangladesh.
  20. Once again, PLEASE refrain from posting articles not related to Bangladesh.
  21. There are (probably) other newsgroups which may be an appropriate forum for
  22. your discussion, (the people reading/posting to those newsgroups might be
  23. better aware/knowledgeable of what you are trying to discuss and be able to
  24. provide you with better feedback). People who read a certain newsgroup are
  25. usually not interested in articles not related to the newsgroup. There's a
  26. very simple way to get rid of such articles using the KILL file. To learn
  27. about proper net etiquettes (netiquettes) please read the appropriate news.*
  28. newsgroups. To voice your articles to the appropriate audience, post them to
  29. the appropriate groups, else people will put you in their killfile.

  31. Also, please don't post test messages to this newsgroup. There are a bunch
  32. of test newsgroups (alt.test, misc.test, news.test, gnu.test, etc.) for
  33. posting test msgs. The additional advantage of posting to these newsgroups
  34. is that some sites will automatically acknowledge the receipt of your article
  35. via e-mail. This will give you some notion about the whereabouts of your test
  36. message. (I hope ?)

  45. Your articles to SCB (Followups to Talaq over Telephone) have been bothering
  46. me and many others. The appropriate forum for your discussion would be
  47. soc.religion.islam, and NOT  soc.culture.bangladesh.  Please note that, at
  48. present me and a few of my friends have put you in our KILL file list. (May
  49. be you don't care about that, but the point of posting is so that people read
  50. what you have to say. Sorry, it had to come down to this). Your articles are
  51. also the reason why I am posting this article in the first place.

  53. I personally think your articles are extremely disrespectful to the entire
  54. Muslim community. They are very abusive and rude. You have totally violated
  55. netiquettes. I would suggest that you read the appropriate news.* newsgroups
  56. before you post anything else. Please do read them.

  58. You have been posting the same questions over and over even after many netters
  59. have pointed it out to you that SCB is not the appropriate forum for your
  60. discussion. You have been personally addressing people in your articles to
  61. respond to your questions. This should be done by e-mail.

  63. Before you post anything that can offend a lot of people, do your homework
  64. properly. Don't believe anything you read. Read books by not one, but many
  65. authors. Try to get a wide-angle view. When someone suggests that you read
  66. or watch some video (e.g. watch debates(?) between Ahmad Deedat and Anis
  67. Sorrosh (sp?) ) don't respond bluntly by saying you are interested in facts
  68. only; as these sources might be providing you some facts/insight into the
  69. matter. From the repetitiveness of the questions in your postings, it seems
  70. to ME that you simply want to start a net-war. Please, refrain from such
  71. malicious intent.
