- In front of the Howard S Wright Construction Co. is a really cool
- concrete statue by the same artist (i suspect), who did the Bus Stop
- at the north end of the Freemont Bridge.. Howard S Wright's statue
- is located at 425 Pontius N...
-
- KING-TV also has a concrete statue of this type, but it's not as
- nearly as interesting. It seems to depict a family (including the
- dog) staring intently (presumably at a TV, which is not depicted).
- KING is at 333 Dexter Av N...

- I personally believe that the Two Union Square building at 6th and
- Union is the most innovative building in town. Go inside and notice
- the variety of colors and textures used in the lobby. Look at the
- shape of the building, and the "airfoil" concept used in many of the
- fixtures, including hand-rails and the directory/reader-board. It's
- really cool. There's also a model of both Union Square buildings in
- the lobby. Oh, yeah, this building has a definite "front", with a
- flag pole at the top and a shape which reminds me of the bridge of a
- ship. I'm no art critique, and no architecture critic either, but
- "I know what I like" :-)
