- With the growth in the use and accessibility of electronic
- communication both inside and outside the University, and due to severe budget
- reductions, the Personnel Department is implementing a number of cost-saving
- measures that will have the least amount of impact on services while continuing
- to provide timely vacancy information to employees and job seekers.

- Effective November 6, the number of copies of the Employment
- Opportunities Bulletin distributed to departments and to community
- organizationsand agencies will be reduced. On campus, a single copy will be
- distributed to each mail code, with further reductions anticipated in the
- coming months. The exception will be the departments in Business Affairs,
- where no distribution will be made because electronic access is available.
- Department managers and supervisors should review the availability of the
- Bulletin to all employees in their department/unit. If specific areas do not
