-
- Have you ever tried to change the filters on an M17 series mask? I KNOW that
- you haven't done it in a contaminated environment... you're alive to post your
- message....
-
- Any mask that you have to take OFF to change the filters has a LITTLE flaw.
- How'd you like to be wearing an M17A2 when the other side drops blood agent
- and blister agent on you at the same time? The blood agent clogs the
- filters... requiring you to take off the mask... while you stand in a rain of
- blister agent. Even if you get the filters changed before you have to take a
- breath (in the words of Judy Tenuta, "It could HAPPEN!"), you'll probably have
- difficulty resealing your mask over the huge blisters which now cover your
- exposed skin....
