  16. In the discussion of "impressive artilleries", some have picked 
  17. the G5, G6, etc. from South Africa.  One of the reasons given 
  18. is that they can shoot very far.  I would appreciate that if 
  19. anyone can describe what makes these guns great.

  21. The TV program (Frontline?) on the guy who was behind these 
  22. guns did not talk much about the technology.  For example, it 
  23. didn't explain much about why these guns can shoot further than 
  24. others.  What gives a gun extensive range?  What prevents others 
  25. from coping these great guns?  Then can't be as complicated as 
  26. an F-14, can they?
