  18. Dr. Bertell cries out for support from the alternative press.  Perhaps the
  19. mainstream press downplays reports like hers because they are full of 
  20. inflammatory hyperbole.  There are a lot of disturbing facts in her
  21. presentation, but it's hard to find them amidst exaggerations.  Dr. Bertell's
  22. sky-is-falling rantings turn off intelligent readers.  Grass-roots efforts  
  23. of paranoid and under-informed individuals aren't going to be able to
  24. combat a problem of this magnitude.
