- mainstream press downplays reports like hers because they are full of
- inflammatory hyperbole. There are a lot of disturbing facts in her
- presentation, but it's hard to find them amidst exaggerations. Dr. Bertell's
- sky-is-falling rantings turn off intelligent readers. Grass-roots efforts
- of paranoid and under-informed individuals aren't going to be able to
- combat a problem of this magnitude.
