- I'm not positive it does what you want, but the public domain Gnuplot 3.2
- does 3d plots and the manual says it does contours. I've used it for 2d
- plots and have been quite pleased. It has a variety of output options and
- has been ported to a number of different platforms (DOS, X, Next...).

- DOS executables can be found at oak.oakland.edu in pub/msdos/plot/gnuplt32.
- zip (note the lack of 'o' in gnuplt). The official repository is dartvax.
