-
- I don't know about reliable, but there is a very simple, freely
- distributable 3D GCM in the anonymous ftp area of perelandra.cms.udel.edu
- in the directory /models/PrimEqModel/.
-
- It solves the 3D primitive equations in pressure coordinates on the
- surface of a sphere.
-
- I have been unable to contact the author since the model first showed up
- on the net several years ago. His name is R. Saravanan, and he was at
- Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University
- of Cambridge (England) when the model was released. If anyone knows
- him, I would appreciate learning how to get in contact with him to
- find out if the model has been updated/superceded, etc....
