  20. I don't know about reliable, but there is a very simple, freely
  21. distributable 3D GCM in the anonymous ftp area of perelandra.cms.udel.edu
  22. in the directory /models/PrimEqModel/.

  24. It solves the 3D primitive equations in pressure coordinates on the
  25. surface of a sphere.

  27. I have been unable to contact the author since the model first showed up
  28. on the net several years ago.  His name is R. Saravanan, and he was at
  29. Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University
  30. of Cambridge (England) when the model was released.  If anyone knows
  31. him, I would appreciate learning how to get in contact with him to 
  32. find out if the model has been updated/superceded, etc....
