- Check with Motorola -- they sell "Tone Ringer IC" chips which
- interface to tip and ring and drive a piezo speaker. Their app notes
- describe using these ICs as ring detectors for microcontrollers and
- such. (Sorry, don't have my Moto books here or I'd give you a part
- number...)
