- Greetings. The mention of silver solder triggered an old memory which
- may or may not be relevant. I seem to recall reading that silver
- solder was definitely to be avoided for electronics work, and that
- some kinds of silver solder use a flux which definitely *is*
- toxic (the memory says "cadmium") rather than the rosin flux used
- in typical tin/lead solder formulations.
