- History. Unless you believe that no nation could ever have an
- indefinite lifespan, would appear to be lots of evidence that improper
- investment and stupid "business decisions" by governments (which
- includes electing crooks, liars, snake-oil salesfolk and charlatans as
- a our representatives) are guaranteed to terminate the existence of a
- government.
