- Here, there has not been much use of computers in the most introductory
- chemistry class, ie., general chem. and organic chemistry. The introd.
- biochemistry course just started using SGI workstations for computer labs so
- students can have a chance to look at protein structure more closely. I am
- currently taking two courses which use computers intensely, one is a receptor/
- ligand class, and the other is a biophysics class where we do molecular
- simulations. We also use SGIs for these classes. The software we use is
- Quanta and CHARMm.
