- As some of you may know, I'm working on a kitchen cabinet project.
- Now I'm looking into preparing for the finish work (not to say I've
- completed the cabinets though). I've gotten some recomendations that
- I should really use a sprayer to apply the final finish
- (laquer/poly-). I've seen the Wagner Fine Coat (HVLP) sprayer for
- around $180 locally. Any advice?
-
- The material is oak and oak veneer plywood ( I might use some birch
- bly where it's not visible to save a few $$). I'm planning on
- applying a sanding sealer, then a natural stain, then multiple coats
- of poly-/laquer (the recommendation I got was 8-9 coats, rubbing w/
- steel wool between every three caots or so).
-
- As always, thanks in advance...
-
- Eric.
