- If all you're looking at is lift/drag, blade fins should be a win. The
- higher the aspect ratio (fin length vs chord), the better the L/D.

- You see this principle in sailplanes -- the planes with the best L/D (about
- 60:1) have extremely long wings (75 feet wingspan!). Although you can glide
- forever, there's some trade-off in responsiveness, plus they cost a fortune.
