  23. Two new windows (yuk) programs are the Matrox Studio and the Video
  24. Machine. Both have high end 4:2:2 processing, effects, graphics, and
  25. machine control. Both require huge drives for video storage and highend
  26. machines. Both still have drawbacks in image quality compared to pro
  27. video gear. Apple Link for Video Machine is FAST.E  Pricetag is around
  28. $5000 for the card. Matrox is about $15,000 for the cards. Low end
  29. expect to see quicktime players for the IBM-PC before too long but look
  30. at Adobe Premier or Macromind Mediamaker for the Mac. I believe
  31. Macromind might have a PC version of Action you might look at. Whatever
  32. you buy storing even low resolution video take big bites
