-
- We are looking for an industrial quality video editing system, which should
- run from and control a pair of Betacam SP machines, one a recorder/player,
- the other a player with dynamic tracking. We also want to import material
- (either single frames or animations) from other machines (many different
- kinds - Silcon Graphics, VAXen, Macs etc) on the network.
-
- We have demo'ed many systems, but our current favourite is a Mac based
- system from Avid. We were allowed to use one of these for the day last week
- and found it very easy to use in all respects. The results were great too.
-
- Does anyone out there have any opinion about these Avid systems (or any of the
- others) or any info we should know?
