  11. I bought my 3090 about one year ago. First, I had to send it to Pioneer
  12. to get the ROM upgrade. Then it developed the "spontaneous pause" feature. 
  13. I sent it back to them in the winter and they could not fix it so they sent
  14. me a new 3090. By September, we had another problem: audio "dropouts" on
  15. CD's. I called the service center again, and after speaking with her
  16. supervisor, the telephone rep told me to send my 3090 in and they would
  17. replace it with a 701. Which they did. I have now had the 701 for over a month
  18. and it is working fine.
