- Since this is the third time this question has been asked, I will
- publically answer it. IMHO , the Fox-800 is a piece of &%#@, This is why
- (by the way, I own one)

- 1) The functions needed to run my Pioneer ld player, my Yamaha
- A/V reciever and my NEC VCR were not in the units data bank. Therefore
- I had to use the learning functions--which leads to ....
- 2) The "memory" only holds 32 functions !!!! This is in no way
- enough to run even the most basic functions for 4 units.
- 3) The LCD screen is not backlit enough to read the function
- buttons in the dark--The letters are very small.
- 4) The instruction manual is misprinted such that although the
- pages are numbered sequentially, the text is not and you have to hunt
- through the whole thing to find the proper "next page".
- 5) It was manufactured in China--need I say more ?
