  15. I was just looking at the Sony SuperBeta SL-HF900 service manual and
  16. I found a few things that got my mind working....
  17. (Yes I have one)

  19.     #1 Beta I is everywhere I know it can be added to the
  20.        US version (for recording/correct playback)
  21.        I have done it......it works.......no question here.

  23.     #2 The cover of one of the books has a
  24.             SL-HF700
  25.        Is this the Japan version of the US 900?
  26.        It looks EXACTLY the same execpt two things:
  27.         It says "Betamax" and not "SuperBeta" on the door
  28.         It says "Beta I/II/III SL-HF700" on the front
  29.  
  30.     #3 One of the manuals talks about a "LP-1" board

  32.        Can I add this??? I can't find it any where else in
  33.        the books....is it a Japan only version?
