- Probably the ultimate in programmable remotes is an HP-48 calculator. A friend
- has one that he uses as a remote. As I understand it, there are two programs
- available (PD of course), one that is a learning function, and one that is is
- basically pre-programmed. The beauty is that you can write your own programs
- based on this information so that you can get any feature you want.

- Around here the HP-48SX goes for around $260, which is expensive compared with
- most learning remotes, but they are not as flexible.
