- I meant the latter. Let me clarify my original question:

- I understand that Betacam SP is superior to consumer formats including
- S-VHS and Hi8. I want someone to quantify the superiority in terms of
- lines of resolution, number of edit generations it can handle, etc. I
- understand that it could be superior without having more resolution in
- luminance. I just want someone to clarify this.

- better.
