- I have owned the Memorex- Turbo 8 for over a year and I really like it.
- The only thing that would improve it is to have lighted keys-- You
- can program in sequences of key strokes once you have taught it the remote
- functions-- for instance I have programmed in the key strokes to
-
- turn on my surround amp, switch the monitor out to laser disc input, switch the
- processing mode to surround, switch my television on, switch the channel
- to video1,switch the tv speaker to the dolby center mode, place my LD player
- in play mode. The remote executes all these functions with only 2 button
- pushes. I have also programmed in sequences to deal with the menu stuff
- on the tv--This remote is a couch potatoes best friend. I need only to be
- able to throw a laser disc onto the open drawer of my LD player and I
- would never have to get up :-)
