- Hehe, yeah, I have only ever seen one Betamax VCR, very strange looking
- thing, funny thing is, it's still in use in some places! :) I prefer
- VHS, but quality wise, it's times like this that I wish I had a BetaCam SP
- camera! I'm trying to get into the Television field as a Cameraman/Editor,
- so I need to keep in practice, for the meantime though, it's off to borrow
- my Uncle's National M5 Camera (icky!) but it does the job..
-
- The Formats I managed to find out a bit about when I was doing Work experience
- at a tv studio at on eof our University's was 1" and BetaCam SP, I think
- the overall quality of the BetaCam SP was better than the 1" (but that's
- my thoughts) mainly because too, what was done, is the Edit master (BetaCam
- SP) would be dubbed to the 1" reel, being assembled for the Broadcast..
- I thought the 1" was used because of the Length of the tape! I think
- I was wrong. But I still think that the best format Iv'e seen is BetaCam SP,
- and if I had $20,000 I'd go out and buy one! :)..
