  13. The remote control for my Panasonic TV (Model CT5307R) apparently has died.
  14. The serviceman said the membrane switches are bad.  New one costs 40 bucks.

  16. I was thinking of getting a pre-programmed Remote.  Then I thought that might
  17. limit future use of new toys --   compared to a programmable.

  19. Now I am thinking about getting the cheapest pre-programmed remote that will
  20. control my TV and then get a programmable to control the TV, VCR and future
  21. equipment.

  23. Any suggeations - pro and con on pre programmed and programmable remotes?
