- To my knowledge there are _no_ linear tracks in the 8mm format. There are 3
- tracks in the 8mm format...

- 2) Index, RC time code and data code
- 3) PCM audio (stereo)

- The TR101 and V801 record 1&2. The CVD-1000 records all three.
