- if they are from authorized Sony dealers or gray market dealers. Sony says that
- as long as you get a legitimate US serial number, you're OK either way with
- respect to warranty service. And you can always call Sony at 800 222-7669 to
- verify that a dealer is in fact authorized. But will the store with that price
- actually ship you a V801, or will it some how be a "out of stock" forever and
- "would you mind taking one of these" stories? I'd only go with a positive
- recommendation from at least three repeat customers, so I used the word
- "misprint" instead of "misspoke". I don't want to advice anybody on something I
- haven't done myself. Sorry for the confusion.
