  20. The FX710 is a "mid-size" Hi8mm CamCorder (where a TR-81 is compact and a V801
  21. is full size).  It has the new home base charger unit i.e. you leave the base
  22. connected to your TV and just slide the 710 onto it for playback.  The 710 
  23. also has 10:1 zoom versus a 8:1 zoom on the TR-81.  If you don't mind a larger 
  24. unit the 710 may be a better buy.
