- The FX710 is a "mid-size" Hi8mm CamCorder (where a TR-81 is compact and a V801
- is full size). It has the new home base charger unit i.e. you leave the base
- connected to your TV and just slide the 710 onto it for playback. The 710
- also has 10:1 zoom versus a 8:1 zoom on the TR-81. If you don't mind a larger
- unit the 710 may be a better buy.
