- This is completely false. I personally know two people who got screwed
- by Pan Am on tickets to Brasil. United, the airline which took over
- Pan Am's south american routes refused to honor their paid tickets.
- They lost more than $1500.00 apiece and are now one of the long list
- of Pan Am's creditors lined up in bankruptcy court.
