  13. Flew into Gatwick for the first time last week.  I liked it -- I had 
  14. carry on baggage only (business trip) so was off the plane and through 
  15. customs in approximately 3 minutes (exclusive of walking the length 
  16. of the South terminal).  The train ride is 8 pounds to Victoria one way.
  17. Trains leave every 15 minutes and it takes 1/2 hour.  Then downstairs 
  18. to the Victoria Underground and over to Kensington -- 80p.  Beats the 
  19. hell out of a 25 pound cab ride from Heathrow or a Tube ride (2.40??)
  20. with interminable stops carrying luggage.  I'll probably fly into 
  21. Gatwick again in a second, if my destination is London, over Heathrow.
