- I'll be going around the UK in Jan-Mar, possibly (probably) longer.
- Now, I don't really relish the idea of relying on the railways for
- transport, at least, not all the time. Also, they would end up by
- costing reasonably large amounts of money if used all the time.

- Not being into hitch-hiking, nor large amounts of walking (except
- along, say, Hadrian's Wall, or [OU]ffa's Dyke), how practical would
- it be to buy a cheap banger, like a Mini (which I can reassemble
- blindfolded) or Escort or something? How much could I expect to pay
- for one with 6 months MOT? Obviously it will be dilapidated, but
- that's no problem, and it won't exactly be driven hard.
