- You can find quite a few places to stay while roaming around Victoria
- Station. There are offices all around this station with people ready to
- take your money. Some of the inexpensive hostel hostels have bars, which
- allow you to drink on the premise all night - these are the most fun
- because all of the pubs close at 10 or 10:30pm. Bayswater is a great
- place to stay- NW11. I found several terrible hostels in St James and
- several excellent ones inGolder's green; however, when you travel
- cheap, you get what you pay for. If you stay at a authorized Internation
- Youth Hostel (IYH) you will find a very clean, rather boring, (no drinking)
- place to stay.I'd recommend picking up the magazine Time Out, while you
- are in the states. You can find them at most internatinal newstands. When you
- are in London pick up the mag City Limits for a less consevative,
- watered down, site seein g magazine. Also, please read the Guardian,
- not the Times.
- cheers.
