- I wouldn't say I know Cardiff well, but my impression on a short visit was
- that it was just another rather dull middling-sized British city. It
- doesn't have a capital-city buzz at all. Bangor and Swansea have a lot
- more character. And Bangor's as easy to get to given the rest of your
- itinerary. (If this induces a deluge of postings detailing the delights of
- Cardiff, fine: I'm not saying they aren't there, just not discernible to me
- on a week's stay even when staying with a local friend).
