  24. Seconded.  It would make a lot more sense to go to Norwich instead: it has
  25. a similarly well-preserved town centre, a castle more accessible than
  26. Edinburgh's (most of which is off limits because of the army, leaving only
  27. St Margaret's Chapel as worth the bother), and one of the best mediaeval
  28. cathedrals in the UK.  It's about 90 minutes from London by train or bus.
  29. Save Scotland for when you have more time.
