- Excuse me, I just lost something here, and it's not clear to
- me what you mean by to see a customs officer on the way *out*. The man
- returning to Heathrow Airport, or in our CASE back to good ole USA.
- Ofcourse we go through customs when we land into the USA. Our
- Passports, at JFK, New York, are scanned to make sure they are not forgiers,
- but this is Immigration not Customs. Later when one picks up the Luggage the
- Customs officier signs the OK or stamps OK on YOUR Passport. Check
- your passport and see if you clearned customs or not. You might have
- gotten in the USA illegally. (Don't you watch any Spy movies or
- detective movies?) :-).
