  21. I don't think they'll let you reserve over the phone.  (In Madrid, 
  22. It is a lot easier to go to one at Plaza De Espana rather than train 
  23. stations).

  31. I don't think you need to worry about safety in Spain. I was there
  32. this Sept-Oct, and I didn't have any problem. But then, safety may be
  33. relative thing. I was from U.S, not Japan...  I stayed mostly in
  34. Puerta Del Sol and Del Prado area and it was just fine. It is the
  35. noise that you need to avoid more than unsafety at night.  The crowd 
  36. noise dies down usually after 3 am, so try to get a room away from 
  37. the street whenever you can. It was same deal in Barcelona around 
  38. La Rambla, where I stayed.
