- There are different types of accomodation in HK depending on what your budget
- is... from really run-down guest house to 6-star hotels in Grand Hyatt. But
- I strongly recommend the YMCA Hotel on
- Salisbury Rd. It was only reopened at the end of last year and is right in
- the middle of town. I don't know about the rates, but it should be reasonable.
-
- There is a lot to see in HK:
-
- Hong Kong Museum of History
-
- Cultural Centre
- The Peak
- Lantau Island
- Hong Kong Park
- The Buddist Temple in Tseun Wan
- The night view of Hong Kong from the harbour
- The Space Museum
- The Art Museum
- shopping!! :)
-
- You can also join tours organized by the HK Tourist Association. There is a
- tour called the Land Between Tour which will take you to the New Terrtories.
- It's easier going different places in the NT by joining that tour than to
- go on your own.
-
- You may also want to spare a couple of days to visit Macau which is only
- an hour away by jetfoil.
-
- You may be thinking of going to China... but since China is trying to
- deny Hong Kong people of our right to have democracy, please boycott
- China if you are for human rights and democracy.
