  17. Embassy Location:  There is no U.S. embassy or other diplomatic 
  18. post in Nauru.  Assistance for U.S. citizens is available at the

  22. Country Description:  Nauru is a constitutional republic with a 
  23. parliamentary system of government.  Its economy is based on the 
  24. export of phosphates.  Tourist facilities are available on a limited 
  25. basis.  Yaren, the capital, has an international airport.  Taxis and 
  26. rental cars are available, and bus service runs throughout the 
  27. island.

  29. Entry Requirements:  Passports, visas, and onward/return tickets 
  30. are required.  Further specific information is available through the
