- You can fly, which takes a little over an hour. Call any travel agent for
- details on schedules and prices, there are many flights and the airlines
- are quite competitive.
-
- You can take the train, which takes all day and is a wonderful and very
- scenic trip. Call Amtrak (800-USA-RAIL) and reserve early.
-
- You can take the bus, which is considerably less pleasant. Call Greyhound
- for details, seats are unreserved so you show up and get on the bus.
- There is also a company called something like California Parlor Car Tours
- which runs bus trips along the slower but more scenic coastal route.
- Contact a travel agent.
