  40.    Angel Falls is a very popular tourist destination, so you should
  41.  not have any problems getting info. with a travel agent in Venezuela.
  42.  Last January I took a one day trip, that takes you to CANAIMA Camp
  43.  for a 2 to 3 hour walk/canoe trip, wich includes lunch cook and served
  44.  by the river, (it was very nice). On the way back we flew by Angel
  45.  Fall, it was nice, but kind of hard to appreciate thru a litle window
  46.  from the airplane, still we took some good pictures (cost $150) from
  47.  Barcelona.  I also talked to the guide, and he told me that they could
  48.  take a canoe trip to the base of the fall (3 days for $350), but this
  49.  would have to be planned in advance.  If money is not a problem, you
  50.  could stay at the only motel in Canaima for a few days and plan some
  51.  excursion from there.  If you decide to fly by Angel Fall, make sure
  52.  is a reputable airline, you don't want to be stock with an old/under
  53.  service plane.  If you like clear beaches, there are plenty, ofcourse
  54.  if you are not familiar with the country, your best bet will be to
  55.  stay in a hotel in Pto. La Cruz and arrange daily trips from there
  56.  (most of the big hotels have agencies to arrange this.  I am flying
  57.  to Venezuela in December, and my parents are trying to arrange a trip
  58.  to the DELTA, which I hear is very nice. Other place you may be
  59.  interested in, is the Andes, you could fly to merida and go from there.
