  16. In my opinion the media is out of touch with fan response, tennis at
  17. the top level is beyond national boundaries, so even if two Americans
  18. were playing (Courier vs Sampras), any average tennis fan would have
  19. expected the Becker - Ivanisevic match to be more interesting. Instead
  20. we do see a boring upset (Courier beats Sampras), and the last bit
  21. of a very interesting match (Becker beats Ivanisevic in a third set 
  22. tie breaker). What little they showed was great to watch.
