- From USA TODAY (_THE_newspaper for US soccer fans:):
-
- GOAL:
- P.J. Johns
- Victor Nogueira
-
- DEFENSE:
- Jeff Agoos
- Fernando Clavijo
- George Fernandez
- Mike Windischmann
- Terry Woodberry
-
- FORWARDS:
- Chico Borja
- Ted Eck
- Dale Ervine
- Jim Gabarra
- Andy Schmetzer
- ---
- Agoos, Borja, Eck and Ervine are fringe players on the outdoor national team.
- Gabarra and Windischmann were starters on the 1888 Olympic and 1990 World Cup
- teams respectively, but haven't played international soccer for a while.
- Clavijo has been a regular on Bora's US outdoor team. The rest are former MISL
- stars. Looks like a good team for this sort of thing! Any idea if these players
- would be good enough to play in a "real" North American outdoor league?
