-
-
- Yes, TSN will broadcast the match live from the National Stadium in
- Bermuda 2 weeks from now at 5:00pm Eastern Time.
-
- I saw the match in its entirety on TSN and, apart from my displeasure
- of the scoreline, it was a good game. Bunbury, well, he got a little lucky on
- his first goal, since Meshach Wade inadvertantly tipped the ball over the line
- for a goal, after the GK, "Streaker" Adams, smothered his shot, but didn't hang
- on. The next 2 goals were well done and caught our defence napping.
-
- The second half was a little dead until Goater scored midway through
- the half. One TSN commentator remarked that Goater was offside, but I couldn't
- see how he could justify that, because of the position of the cameras. I
- couldn't tell if he was offside for the same reason. But I digress...
-
- The second Bermudian goal was almost the same as the first, with a long
- ball into the penalty area, and Goater and Sammy "the Snake" Swan being just
- too fast for the Canadian defenders. Swan tapped it in to make it 3-2.
-
- Momentum was on the Bermudian side, but it was snuffed when the
- Canadian striker (I don't know his name) volleyed a beautiful shot into the
- left hand corner of the net, just out of Streaker's hands. With that shot,
- Bermuda is out of World Cup Competition.
-
- Canada will have a very hard time trying to win in Bermuda, since the
- home side have been undefeated in the current World Cup Competition. Am I
- implying that they'll win? Put it this way: Bermuda beat El Salvador at home
- 1-0. They have no pressure. And what better way to get revenge on the
- Canadian team than beating them on the Island??
-
- I'll be most definitely watching the TSN game.
