- Has anybody out there built any bore-through metal woods?
-
- I just received Trident Widebody 1W & 3W heads from Pro-Swing.
- They're hosel-less metal heads, similar to Calloway I guess.
-
- Being my first attempt at club building, I wasn't aware that
- I had to bore through the heads myself. I will be attaching
- them to graphite shafts. Do I really need to purchase their
- counter-sink bit, or will a regular drill bit do just as well?
-
- Also,
- Must I drill all the way through the bottom of the club head?
- If so, what's the best way of trimming off the bottom of the
- shaft without damaging the bottom of the head?
- And are hosel collars and plugs required or just there for looks?
- Any other suggestions are appreciated.
-
- Thanks,
-
